1.Intro
An American company, we founded Red Pocket in 2006 with the aim of being a different kind of company A wireless company. We believe it is unfair that consumers have to pay more for a phone that being locked into strict contracts and treated like numbers. So we re-imagined wireless!
So what does this mean for our customers? Our business model is based on the following values Choice and flexibility. You can choose a service from any of the three major national networks. You can keep your number (and phone number) or get a new number (or phone number!) .
Perhaps one of the things we are most proud of is our customer service. At Red Pocket, we will never treat you like a number. Our customer service team prides itself on its ability to provide quality care for each and every customer. You can even talk to a real person! at any time!
The name of our company is intentional and comes from Asian cultural traditions. At social and family gatherings such as weddings, festivals and the Lunar New Year, gifts are presented in red envelopes (or pockets). The red colour of the envelope symbolises good luck. We thought this would be the perfect representation of the wireless company Red Pocket.

Great Agent Marcelo B: I’m having problems receiving voicemail on my mobile phone. It said my number was not a valid mailbox number. I called customer service and found Marcelo B. He took great care to escalate the problem and resolve it. He was so professional and caring and wanted to make sure it was resolved. They even contacted Verizon who listed my phone as an Android instead of the iPhone that was causing the problem. The representative Marcelo B was very pleasant and solved the problem. I am very grateful. Excellent phone service and customer service.
I’ve been using the Red Pockets service for a couple of years now and haven’t had a problem until now. I think I may have screwed up something on my online account that I wasn’t quite sure about, but it was resolved by email and they sent me easy to understand instructions. They communicated very well and the problem was resolved quickly. I am grateful that they are affordable and that I get good service at over 3000m above sea level. I hope they don’t get bought out by a mainstream company, Sprint is second only to Comcast in customer service. I am a very satisfied customer of Red Pocket.
I switched from AT&T postpaid wireless, which made AT&T incredibly difficult. I had initial data setup problems with my Android phone, but the online technical service helped to resolve the problem quickly. The wireless coverage was excellent and there were no other issues. I decisively opted for the annual payment plan, which will save me over 60% from what I would have paid AT&T for the same service.
