We use it when we dry camp. To meet my needs I bought solar panels. I only let the battery pack drop 6 out of 10 cells and charge it. So far it has only taken 3 hours to charge. I can adjust the angle of the 100 watt solar panel and the solar pack is charged at 86% up to 91%. I have the advantage of dry camping in Nevada and Arizona. So strong sunlight does a good job.
