Remember the days when everything at Dollar Tree was just a crisp dollar bill? Well, times have changed. Since the price increase to $1.25 back in 2021, Dollar Tree has expanded its offerings, introducing the Dollar Plus section where you can find a variety of name-brand toys, electronics, food, home goods, and seasonal decor priced at $2, $3, or $5.

The addition of the “Dollar Plus” sections has been a hit among shoppers, providing a wider range of products under one roof. Now, Dollar Tree is set to introduce over 300 new products with prices ranging from $1.50 to $7.

While certain items have seen price hikes – such as helium balloons, now priced at $1.50 – there’s good news too. Approximately 5% of Dollar Tree’s inventory, including candy, sodas, spices, canned goods, and powdered drink mixes, have returned to the beloved $1 price tag.

We’re thrilled to see Dollar Tree reverting to its roots by offering more items for just $1. However, it’s essential to be savvy while shopping. Keep an eye on the per-ounce price, as some products might end up costing more than expected. While Dollar Tree remains a haven for deals, it’s always wise to double-check those price tags.
